Deciding my Chicago History project

I was either going to do the Great Chicago Fire or H.H. Holmes.I decided to do H.H. Holmes because we’ve learned a lot about the Great Chicago Fire and it is a very easy thing to write about.Another reason I didn’t do the Great Chicago Fire was because in 5th grade I did a presentation on it,so I want to try something new.So I chose H.H. Holmes.The articles I have read about H.H. Holmes he seems like a little interesting.I know some information on H.H. Holmes.He has killed between 20 to 200 people.He was sometimes known as the Beast of Chicago because he killed a lot of people.He had a place called the murder castle and he killed his victims there.Those are some facts about him and what he did.He also had e siblings.His siblings names were Ellen Holmes,Henry Holmes,and Arthur Holmes.There is a lot of interesting facts about him.H.H. Holmes is very interesting and that is why I chose him.

My plans during thanksgiving break

I’m not really going to do much just be home watching videos or movies with my cousins.Or we would go out somewhere.We went to see The Grinch and it was really good.On thanksgiving my whole family meets up at my grandmas house and we each bring something to eat.We all sit at the table and talk and play games and watch tv. I like it because it’s a time where we are all together. But this year my family went to Texas to spend thanksgiving with my ant,but we didn’t my uncle’s family didn’t either so we made food and we played games with his family and his daughter’s slept over and we stayed up all night.It was really fun and we had chips and soda and watched movies all night.Even though my whole family wasn’t there I still had a great time.

Feild Trip’s are Fun!!!!

On Tuesday I went to a place named Feed My Starving Children and it was really fun.I went there in 5th grade and really liked it so I wanted to go again.In Feed My Starving Children you pack bags that have soy,rice,veggies,and vitamins.They put them in boxes and send all over the world to children that don’t really eat or they can’t walk or talk because they don’t eat.I like it because it’s naturally fun but thing that makes it more fun is that you know that you are helping kids all around the world.I recommend this to everyone I think lots of kids at HMS would really like it.I know one thing that no one would like though, and that is that you have to wear hairnets.Wearing hairnets isn’t that bad though.When your done packing the food you can pray if you want to.Lastly you watch a video on a child that they have helped and then you get a sample on the food that you make.I really like Feed My Starving Children and think that you should try it to.

What I did for Halloween 🎃🎃🎃

What I did for Halloween was I went trick-or-treating with my family and it was lots of fun.I saw my little cousins in all there costumes and took pictures.We always go by my old house because my grandma still lives there.My whole family meets up there.Once we are all there we all go trick-or-treating together.My uncle always makes his own costumes.This year he made the characters from “Coco”.It was fun watching the reaction of the people when they would see him.Everybody wanted to stop and take pictures with him.As I was walking around I saw lots of people with cool costumes.we got lots of candy, especially my older brother because he and his friends went trick-or-treating around our new house and got big candy bar and book bags full of candy.We have more than enough candy for the whole year!

Quarter One Reflection

I think I did really good with my quarter one things.I mainly got 3’s and 4’s and I’m actually really proud of myself.I would say that mostly a lot of things in quarter one were really easy, but not all was easy.I say that I did really good because Ms.Haury taught me well.So I want to say “thank you” to her because she taught me so much in one quarter.I actually really like learning everything that we learned.It was very interesting and fun.Quarter One was great.I think that my grades were really good with 3’s and 4’s mostly 4’s but i’d be fine with either one.These are some things that were easy,the middle school difference between the movie and the book,the I am poem,the personal narrative,and the Dear Future Self (and other things). I just want to say that I think that I did good  during quarter one.And it is nice,fun,and amazing to be in ELA class.ELA CLASS IS SOOOOOOO AMAZINGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!

Every birthday is special

I am choosing my birthday party because all of my birthdays have been special, but there was one that was the most special. My parents planned my 9th birthday to be Mickey Mouse theme. I was very excited because Mickey Mouse is my favorite character. My mom bought t-shirts for her and one for my dad of Mickey Mouse. My brothers were also wearing Mickey Mouse shirts. My dad made 2 towers of balloons with Mickey Mouse colors and the top was a big helium balloon of Mickey Mouse head. They came out really cute. The treats table was also decorated really nice. They had the Mickey Mouse cake in the center. They had 2 cupcakes holder one on each side of the cake. The cupcakes were vanilla and chocolate and they had disney decorative toothpicks on them. On the table there were all sorts of candy, mostly Mexican candy. The 2 Mickey Mouse balloon towers were on top of the table one on each side and in the middle agains the wall was a banner that said “Happy Birthday Julissa” all around the house there were Mickey Mouse decorations. We also had a popcorn machine. As my family were arriving they said “Happy Birthday” to me. I was very happy and also very excited about the gifts I was getting. Suddenly Mickey Mouse appeared. It was my dad wearing a Mickey Mouse costume. My mom put a song “Lets stand together” on the Mickey Mouse clubhouse. I was wearing a pink tutu skirt and a red shirt that spelled “Love” Mickey Mouse face and Mickey Mouse ears head band. We dance and towards the end of the song my dad held me up and spinned me around slowly. That was the best party of my life so far.

Middle school book reaction

There were some crazy things in the middle school book.These are some things that happened.Like when Rafe decides to do Operation R.A.F.E and break all the rules in the rule book.To me that was crazy because I don’t like to break the rules.or when Miller the Killer got Rafes Operation R.A.F.E notebook and told Rafe to pay some money to get each page back and the price could get higher.Now that was really crazy.Or when the teacher and principal were deciding his punishment.😬😬😬.Or when Rafes mom saw the Operation R.A.F.E pages.Rafe got really worried about that.Or when bear pushes Rafes mom down the outside stairs.Bear was going to be Rafes and his sisters stepdad but after that he wouldn’t be anymore.Or when we find out that Leo is Rafes brother but he died.Leo was Rafes imaginary friend until we found out he was Rafes brother.But what was really crazy was that he was writing the book for the art school that he is going to.🖌🖌

Welcome to my blog

Hey welcome to my blog.Last week was very busy.My grandma came to visit from Mexico.Thursday we went to my uncle’s house for a cook out with all my other uncle’s.I really liked doing it because it was with all my uncles.But just seeing the way the we’re all having fun together was actually really nice because they don’t really have much time to just relax or chill with each other,they are either working or doing something.Saturday we went to the zoo.The zoo was really fun because my grandma was there and it’s more fun having my grandma there because we don’t really see her.She comes every year and we also get to see her for multiple day because she comes and she leaves to Mexico but the we go to Mexico and see her.On Sunday we went to my uncle’s soccer game.The soccer game was cool because we know a lot of people there plus we play all around the field.We even play on the field when it’s half time.Well that’s the end bye.😜💜
